Recessed Window Treatments 3
Why should it be so expensive, especially in this time of economic upheaval, to have unique and interesting window treatments without paying a fortune for them?

Put the batting and the material on your top window piece the same way you covered the side pieces. After you have glued, stapled or tapes the material to the back of the top piece, use decorative nails or screws to attach the top piece to the wall above the recessed window and far enough below the top to cover the tops of the side pieces, as show in the window picture above. You have created an easy, very frugal, and unique window treatment.
Add tassels to the points of your side pieces and your window treatment is finished.
If your window needs privacy you could add blinds across the window or you could use tension rods to hand your choice of curtains across inside recessed area over the window.
