Clean the Smart Way

The last week in March is National Cleaning Week. It's time to organize your cleaning supplies to enable you to clean the smart way. Knowing what products are needed to clean various rooms, furniture and objects in your home means that you don't waste time getting started or using the wrong cleaning products. A few cleaning tips and the right cleaning products will go a long way in cutting down your cleaning time.
1. Clean the room that you hate to clean FIRST, then the rest of the rooms will seem like a breeze to clean.
2. Clean one room at a time and always start at the top and work down.
3. Keep bathroom mirrors from fogging up by cleaning them with shaving cream.
4. Once your oven is squeaky clean, cover the bottom of the oven with aluminum foil to catch any spills and drips.
5. Have your cleaning supplies in each room where they will be used. If this is not possible, then store all the cleaning supplies in one place so you can grab all of them and take them to the room you are going to clean.

I don't have room to place my cleaning products and tools in each room, so I have all my tools and my cleaning products in one place in my laundry room. My cleaning products go in my plastic handled carrier, plus a roll of paper towels, toothbrush, scrubbers, etc. I can quickly grab my mop, broom, and cleaning carrier to the room that I'm going to clean.
