4 Pork Chops (not too thick)
4 Apples (Delicious or your favorite eating apple)
1 Box of Stuffing (Dressing) Mix
1 Large Can of Sweet Potatoes or Yams

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Put the 4 pork chops in a shallow baking pan that has a "lip" to hold the juices in the pan. Salt and pepper the pork chops.
  • Make the Stuffing Mix as instructed on the box. Carefully put any liquid called for into the mix. You don't want the stuffing mix to be too thin or runny.
  • Shape four balls out of the stuffing mix and place on top of the pork chops in the baking pan.
  • Core the 4 apples. (You will have a hole all the way through the apples.) Try not to split the apple as you core it. You want the apple to be in one piece. Place the apples into the pan with the pork chops and stuffing balls.
  • Stuff raisins into the holes in the apples. Pour sugar into the holes with the raisins, then sprinkle some cinnamon on the top of the holes.
  • Open the can of Sweet Potatoes or Yams, drain, and place the Sweet Potatoes or Yams into the baking pan with the apples and pork chops.
  • Bake about 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Time could vary a bit depending on the thickness of the pork chops. When the pork chops are thoroughly done, the meal is ready to take out of the oven.
  • Serve one pork chop with a stuffing ball on top, one apple, and a few sweet potatoes or yams on each plate. You have a complete meal including an apple dessert. If a salad is needed for the meal, throw it together while the pork chops are cooking.
