While surfing the Web, I found the A2Z Home's Cool homeschooling Web site and was immediately fascinated. I wanted to find how who home schools and why, plus how other's can benefit from home schooling programs.
Wikipedia states that, "Homeschooling is a legal option for parents in many countries, allowing them to provide their children with a learning environment as an alternative to public or private schools outside the home".What's the main reason that parent's choose home schooling. A December 2008 issue of the brief of the National Center for Education Statistics found that the number one reason parent's home school was because of a concern about the school environment. The number two reason parent's home schooled was a desire to provide religious or moral instruction.
After browsing the A2Z Home's Cool homeschooling site I find that not only parent's, guardians, or tutors can benefit by this site, but any parent, guardian, or tutor that needs to help children with their homework, find fun and interesting things to do during summer vacation, or to home school a non-graduating senior or a student who is in danger of retention.
