You will also find a collection of lovely German Postcards from days gone by, and you might want to pop into the Photographs from Past for a quick look to see if you can identify any of these "lost" people. Click on Memories and you will find some brief family history illustrated, from the German Folk Art collection drawn by Fritz Lindner shows, with children chasing after the early automobiles such as this cute illustration shows.

Don't miss this section about an old German tradition of building a Bavarian Krippe every Christmas. This family Christmas nativity scene sometimes covered an entire wall, and was so large that one year the scene turned the corner and continued in another room. Browse the photos to see how the this Weihnachtskrippe was created and what a beautiful addition to Christmas.
