Surfing The Clouds
Yes, people and glider planes have really surfed the clouds. The Morning Glory is a strange rolling cloud formation near Burketown, Australia that can be as long as 600 miles and can reach speeds up to 35 miles an hour. If you are very lucky you can catch the Morning Glory for the surfing experience of your life. Source: The Cloud Appreciation Society
