    Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
Published, considered one of the Great American Novels, studied by serious literary critics, banned by the Concord Public Library as trash more suited to the slums than to intelligent, respectable people, and banned in New York by the Brooklyn Public Library because Huck "not only itched, but scratched". You probably have seen it in film, may have watched it on stage, and most likely have heard the music. Now, read the book, the entire book. I dare you!

    Alice in Wonderland
Read Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.

    Anne's House of Dreams
You may have read Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery, but have you read Anne's Dream House, about Anne as she prepares for her wedding and travels to Prince Edward Island?

    At the Earth's Core
Edgar Rice Burroughs. Science fiction story about an Iron Mole, like a submarine for land that breaks and takes its passengers into Inner Earth, inhabited by strange creatures.

Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The
by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Benjamin Button is born looking like a 70 year old man and progressively gets younger as time goes by, gets married, has children, and eventually is younger than his own son. ummm, why does this sound familiar? Read it and find out.

    Enchanted Barn, The
The Enchanted Barn is one of my favorites from Grace Livingston Hill. This story about a girl who has the courage to take her mother, brothers and sisters to live in a barn for the summer, since she cannot find a house or room that she can afford on her salary. How the barn is transformed into a lovely home is a pleasure to read.

    Enchanted Castle, The
Written by E. Nesbit. Two brothers at a boys school and their sister spend a 7 week holiday at their sister's school, in the care of a French teacher, while everyone else goes home for the holidays.

    Jo's Boys
Read a continuation of Little Women in this story about Jo's Boys by Louisa May Alcott.

    Little Prince, The
Antoine de Saint-Exupery, who is was a french author, journalist and pilot wrote The Little Prince in 1943, one year before his death. The Little Prince appears to be a simple children's tale, some would say that it is actually a profound and deeply moving tale, written in riddles and laced with philosophy and poetic metaphor.

    Mary Louise and Josie O'Gorman
Mary Louise was rich and beloved, then became poor and bereft, lost her husband at sea, but with native pluck and showing a cheerful spirit, she opened a millinery department creating old-fashioned bonnets.

    Nobody's Boy
Nobody's Boy, by Hector Malot, is a human document of child experiences that unfolds loyal friendship and honest conduct and is fascinating reading for young and old.

    Original Christmas Stories
Christmas stories by Chip Ciammaichella for the holiday season-- A Christmas Gift for Kathryn, A Cop's Christmas, It Happened One Christmas, and more.

    Tiger Son
An ancient Chinese tale by Po Chung-ling, about a small tiger given to a widow whose son was killed by a hungry tiger. Written and illustrated by Teresa Ng.
