What a trip! Three women of a certain age and a cat in an RV on a road trip that covered over 5,000 miles in 23 days and went almost from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean. Five days out of Arizona was our first layover in Fort Benning, Georgia for the Turning Blue and Graduation Ceremony of my cousin's grandson on the 6th and 7th of May, 2010.
Our next stop of interest was the Tybee Island Lighthouse on Tybee Island, Georgia. The selection of photos of the Lighthouse and the Museum cannot begin to give you the soul-stirring feeling for the history of the lighthouse nor the thrilling experience of reaching the top of the lighthouse.
One of the most memorable stops on our trip was the Atlantic Ocean with it's beautiful beach and never ending waves.
