When Granny made this honey bread we couldn't wait for it to come out of the oven. We all had to have just one slice spread with butter before we even thought about eating our supper.
1 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup milk
1 egg (slightly beaten)
1/2 cup honey
(Yes, I know this seems like a long time to beat this mixture, but this is the way Granny made it and it turned out just fine every time followed these directions.)
